Just saw the last episode (5). It was good. Edge of my seat, biting my nails, and so on.
But also, made me so, so sad. I usually love plausibility and real consequences, but here's one time I really wouldn't have minded an easy out: reset, McGuffin, deus ex machina... anything.

Jeffrey Dean Morgan, et cetera
In an article in this Sunday's Daily News, there was an article about "The Watchmen" (March 6th! Yay!). Director Zack Snyder was asked about the casting and was quoted as saying, "...Jeffrey came in and was grumpy and cool and grizzled, and I was, like, 'OK, Jeffrey is perfect!'"

Stargate Atlantis: Whispers
I often try to figure out what the writers have been watching that "inspired" them. Sometimes it's really obvious, like the Aliens episode. So obvious, one of the characters (usually John) makes a reference to it so the audience knows that the writers know it's obvious. Last episode ("The Shrine") was Grey's Anatomy in Pegasus.
