So last December I had LASIK.  My right eye turned out great.  My left...? Not so much. I haven't really been able to see out of my left eye for over nine months.  Last Friday, after work, I had a corrective procedure done to improve the vision in my left eye.

So on Friday I drove out to the Chicago burbs to check out Cantigny Gardens.  I forgot half the lenses, my tripod, my shutter release, but still had a pretty good afternoon walking around taking photos. It was a cold but sunny afternoon and it was nice to get out and about during my ongoing recovery from last week's surgery.

So I did a lot of stuff this weekend, in a totally laid back fashion. I met with friends and out-of-towners for dinner and brunches and luches. Got home last night and the roommate informed me that my dog had loose stool, she had vomitted, and a swollen mouth and chin area. After examining Boomer and calling the vet, it didn't seem too serious as she was still eating and drinking.
