They’re brothers. I know that these two have turned a lot of non-incest readers into on-incest readers AND WRITERS, and I know the ~subtext~ between them is prominent. I love them, and I love their relationship, but I don’t want or need it to be a sexual thing. I don’t feel like that kind of intimacy is necessary, but I do not begrudge people who do. At all. Cedric/Laurent pretty much got their ideal circumstances. Laurent finally came out to his parents and his parents asked him to give them time to digest it all. I suppose I’d hope that his parents would finally come to accept it, and they had Cedric over for barbecues, and then they adopted children, and then Cedric made some crazy Agronomic discovery so they had lots of money and then they fucked and fucked and lived happily ever after :D Seriously, these boys turn me into cotton candy. I just want their life together to be good, and to survive. I love them hardcore.
4. What's your favorite episode/scene of 1?
Oh man, I shouldn’t have put them first, Megsy, you’ve already done this. I’ll think of some different things. Uh, Period of Adjustment when they have that big ass fight and then BJ says ‘you now what I did today, I hit the best friend I ever had’. Or, in one of the eps with the orphans and Hawkeye’s playing with a kid and you can see BJ in the background watching and smiling. Or when BJ’s telling the story of Androclese and Hawkeye’s all, keep going. Or, or when BJ’s arm gets hurt by the autoclave and Hawkeye hands the case over to the doctor he doesn’t like ‘cause he knows he’ll do a better job. And BJ’s all, I’ve still got one good hand!

Uh, since Deathly Hallows when Luna and Dean were paired off together, and Dean was all ‘she’s a weirdo but she’s a good sort’ and Luna’s all, ‘Dean, let’s go find some Jupiter Gigolos!’ or whatever, and I thought it was all rather cute. Plus, I like that Dean’s Muggle-born and Luna’s the bizarrest kind of witch and just. Imagine some of the conversations they would have.

Uh, I shipped Ewan/Hayden back when Revenge of the Sith was released [as some of you did, too] because I thought they were both hot, and they were very flirtatious with each other [though Ewan flirts with everyone]. I look back fondly on fandom then, but the pairing doesn’t mean anything to me anymore. It was mostly shallow reasons that I got into them, and it was more about Ewan and writing Ewan In Love than about the two of them together. If that makes ANY sense.

Hawkeye/Margaret, hands down. I mean, B/J was canon, so at least it had grounds in reality. Um, the opposite? I think? If I’m understanding the Q properly. JP/Craig WAS canon until Craig decided he couldn’t be openly gay and took off to Dublin without JP and that was the end of that. Then JP ended up fooling around with a priest or something crazy and, it all just petered off. It’s not so much that I don’t ~like~ the pairing, they had their moments, it’s just that when it ended in canon it ended for me. SO there you go.
