Today I went to an interactive sound installation as part of the Next Wave Festival called Gardens Speak. It was based off the unofficial burials of martyrs in the Syrian conflict in backyards and public gardens. The affirmative action case in the US: I haven't read many articles on it yet, but man oh man. If they overturn affirmative action on the basis that "we don't need it anymore" or "it's unfair to white kids", I think I might throw up.
