I have finally reached that point in my life that everyone out there is striving for. That's right, I now consider my facebook profile to be capable of representing me better than I can represent myself. You only get one chance to make a first impression, and my facebook profile allows me to give a standardized first impression that is always great. If people want to know what kind of music or television I like, all they have to do is scroll down to see a complete list that I make sure is well balanced from rap to country and stacked with irreproachable picks. And now with a couple of application adds, people can even sample my tastes without having to take my word for how great they are. I also get to choose the picture that people will see. That means no fucked up hair or shit on my face and the viewer always sees my good side. But the very best thing about my facebook persona replacing my live persona is the conversation. I get to write it down, so there aren't any problems with mumbling or my accent, for one thing. But I also get to wait to reply, so my response will always be bitingly clever. Facebook is totally the greatest social invention since the telephone, and I hope it replaces all face to face contact soon.
