insurance is supposed to be there when you need it. i understand that you pay money just in case something bad happens. which is why i'm sure nobody's being ripped off when the companies report
multi-billion-dollar profits every quarter.
anyway.
took my
poor car to get an estimate on the damage. because a lot of the passenger side is scraped and dented, it's gonna cost a lot.
called my insurance company because i hadn't heard anything since my initial report and wanted to find out if they had magically determined fault. i had said that i was switching lanes, didn't see anyone, was almost entirely in the lane, and felt the bump. the other guy said that he was already in the lane, and i hit him. it has been determined somehow that the accident was my fault! as far as i can tell, it's my word against his, so why would they side with him automatically?
