weekend report
friday ended the 3rd quarter at school. i was very proud of finishing all of my grading before leaving the building. i think that's a first (my being on schedule, not finishing grades).
over the weekend, my friend G and i drove up to seattle to visit friends. it was good to see J and cosmicironymag for his house warming party and her easter brunch. good food and good friends make for good times.
however...
seattle drivers can go suck it. on the way up, i avoided some maniac cutting me off (had to swerve onto the shoulder when he swerved into my lane). and then i got sideswiped by some jackass. my poor car is scraped and dented on one side. when the insurance companies called, they told me there's a "discrepancy" in the stories, so fault will be determined later. grrr... jerk hit me... end of story. at any rate, G and i are okay, the damage could have been a lot worse.
today, my poor car wouldn't start. cosmicironymag had to jumpstart it. i hope i can get to school tomorrow.
today's dislike: stress and tension over what-was-supposed-to-be a relaxing weekend.
