Update?
2010 has been an interesting year to say the least.
I started the year with a jaunt to Minnesota to visit friends for my birthday.
Easter once again saw me in Oslo for Inferno Fest.
Went to Portland for Black Circle in May.
I was in Calgary for Noctis in September.
And I ran off to NYC for a few days in early December to visit a friend and see the King Tut exhibit.
My summer was spent helping a friend pack her house and move it all into storage; not much fun when the house is 90 degrees.
I had/have season tickets to the opera but missed a couple due to illness. This also goes for a few metal shows.
I've had constant stress due to my mother's failing health and that won't be over until her health simply fails completely. Sometime around springtime 2011 I'll be having to pay for a friend who is able to drive and myself to get to Colorado, packup what stuff she is giving me, and then drive it back to Seattle. Not a pleasant thought.
Work has also been a bit of a stresser what with all the massive budget cuts to higher education. I'm still employed however and hopefully I will stay so.
I will be starting off the new year with a friend moving back to Seattle and crashing on my futon until we are able to find him a room to rent. If you know of anyone that is renting a room for about $300 including utilities and is cool with a goth/metalhead male and his two small cockatiel birds, let me know. He's a non-smoker that does know how to cook and clean.
I am contemplating seeing Voltaire at the El C on January 25th as it's my birthday. I am curious who else is thinking to attend.
I am also looking for recommendations on where I can go to get my hair re-dyed black but with a few purple streaks thrown into the mix. I know of Scream, but there are more places popping up and curious if there is a better place to go. My hair is past my waist now and not all places are good with working with extremely long hair.
Things I am looking forward to in 2011...

A friend from Vegas possibly visiting in April to attend SakuraCon.
blackheart666 coming to visit in May and us taking off to Portland for the Northwestern Black Circle Fest.
There are also some pretty kickass shows coming up this year. Turisas. Finntroll. Rotting Christ. Destruction.
Other than that I guess it's life as usual. *shrug*
