I hate the world today...
...thank you Meredith Brooks. You took the words right out of my mouth!
I overheard a conversation between two girls today on campus and it made me realize how many stupid people there are in the world. People who are completely oblivious to what is going on outside their insignificant realm of binge drinking and one night stands. There are more people who are open-minded here in Charleston than in other areas of the state, yet they open their minds to false ideas. You have those who oppose the war simply to defy authority. And then you have others who agree to war because they soak up all they hear in the media. Basically..people who don't think for themselves. Our generation finally has an opportunity to stand up for something, unite and prove that we have quality and significance. And what do we do? We get up on 'soap boxes' and sing off key versions of "All You Need is Love."
That is all for now (as I step down from my own soap box).
