My Puter has decided to be a bad bad puter. It is lagging like a mo fo and has been getting green and purple hazy screen of death. See pics below.

Here is a new one on me. A hard drive that was so janked it would show up but neither windows XP nor mac osx could force it to format on the gui level. I had to go command line on its ass. Talk about annoying!

Well, my puter has been having some issues and so it is going into the shop today. This is rather annoying because I have no backup right now. Hence I will be rather missing from all of my online haunts. I will still be able to check my email at work but no myspace or facebook since they are blocked. My old iBook G4 has been having some issues for a while. This is one of the reasons that I upgraded to my MBP this year. I contacted apple about the problem and they said "Since it is not something we can confirm over the phone you need to get it confirmed by a technician." Ok, that was just really disturbing. My mac laptop just crashed. Like all the way crashed. It had a stack over run error in the os and splatted hard. How do I know this? It displayed 15 lines of text describing that, over the top of my screen even as it became unresponsive to all input, including the power button. This required the battery ( Read more... )
