A phone call from my brother Saturday morning brought the sad news that mazzie passed away. She'd been hospitalized for a few weeks after posting somewhat garbled messages to Facebook and Twitter about having had "an incident that resulted in some speech and cognitive issues," and more recently had both liver and kidneys failing. My original plan to get out to see marlokat in "1960s in Song and Word" in Hammondsport on Thursday didn't work out, so willdevine and I set out to catch that last night.
