ten percent luck, twenty percent skill, fifteen percent concentrated power of will
hello, my lovelies. ♥ i was gone this whole weekend because i was at my boyfriend's family reunion, and before that i was just fuckin' lazy, so. :D;;
but this weekend was great. :D nate's family is lovely people and make me feel welcome and love america. the reunion was saturday and holy shit there were so many people, and it was just funny to me, since most of my family isn't even in the country, to see a gathering of this size. but we played with his cousin's little daughter and i was nearly killed by the slide of death jesus christ and i was horrible at corn hole and slightly less horrible at frisbee. this morning was church (there's a little catholic church in the neighborhood and the sermon was v good, which was nice) and lunch with the other side of the family. the drive to and fro were great, too, because we spent most of it playing music the other hadn't heard. (the scissor sisters were a little much for him. :'D but he liked mika! ♥) falling asleep next to someone was nice. :)
(mika is releasing a new album this september but it's sort of lackluster from what i've heard so far. :c)
we've also started watching baccano! and hot damn i love that show. jacuzzi splot is a hero. ♥
(i will do two days of the meme, since i missed so many.)
(i find myself abusing parentheses these days.)

i. smart people. i love them. i am completely helpless against them.
ii. i am easy. flatter me.
iii. be nice. that's kind of crucial. not just to me, to everyone.
iv. don't whine.
v. arm freckles and treasure trails. (hey, i needed one shallow one, right.)
vi. a good debate, preferably detached and with a lot of devil's advocate.
vii. dinner. or lunch. or breakfast. or late-night taco bell. or, you know, any food ever.
viii. tolerance. for me, for others, in your ideals.
day four: seven things that cross your mind a lot
i. i love, i love, i love.
ii. i have so many calls and appointments to make and no desires to make them.
iii. someone left the cake out in the rain.
iv. i should do more in fandom.
v. i should do less in fandom.
vi. i should sing and write and run and swim and smile and learn more.
vii. WHAT IS A FUTURE???
somehow it's become 1:30 a.m. @_@ alright, kids, time for me to turn in, because i'm fucking old and grouchy, holy shit. good night. ♥
