So, I recently volunteered for the local Humane Society. I assume they'll contact me eventually...*shrugs* Whatever.
I went camping this weekend, and was busy for a large portion of it. My stepmom has been running me ragged ever since I got here a few weeks ago, and today was the big epic snap. I swear, she's telling me things when she knows I can't hear her, and then jumps down my back about it. Apparently she told me to help clean the kitchen, and gave me a box of yucky donuts to toss. This is not what I remember. She never mentioned cleaning the kitchen to me at all and I offered to take the damn donuts! And then I went to help Dad out in the yard. Should I mention that by the time I got back, the kitchen had been cleaned for at least five minutes, and I was dripping sweat? The garden work with the lifting and carrying was a lot harder than tossing a few things and sweeping the floor in the kitchen, and I got fresh air like that woman has been nagging me to get! Gah. All I want is a break, you know? I want to volunteer for something, not get ordered to do it. And the clincher? My brother is getting paid. I, am not.
:D I think my stepmom believes I the person who is missing grass patches whenever the lawn is mowed. I'm not. That's Dad. I try to get every damn patch there is. I think its funny though, and she's even watched me mow!
Okay, gear shift here. Doctor Who! *salivates* Oh my gosh. I am in love with Turn Left. I love the idea of how everything would have happened if Donna wasn't around and/or the Doctor was dead. And the way people kept seeing the Trickster thing on Donna's back and they would freak out, and she would freak out, and there would be panicking all over the place. What I want to know is, why were some people seeing it and others won't? I know the first girl was supposedly slightly psychic...And Donna saw it briefly in the mirror. But the alternate course of events? Was very cool. And the general panic going on, because of the walking fat, and the destruction of London, and the ATMOS poison was really interesting to watch, as well as the general formation of 'labor camps.'
Did you notice? Because of Donna's absence, Martha died in the hospital. And Sarah Jane did as well in an attempt to help out, and Maria and Clyde (and I'm assuming Luke as well) from her spin-off were also there and died. Also, Jack's Torchwood team dealt with the Sontarans, and were killed in the attempt! (Well, Gwen and Ianto were. No mentions about Tosh and Owen. I didn't hear what Rose said about Jack, but she said something about him and the Sontarans.) Oh, the repercussions.
Rose is back! I think its kind of weird that she knows that tings are going to happen before they do, and she has some sort of mini-TARDIS thing? Maybe? I thought her voice was kind of odd at first, but it started to sound more and more Rose-like throughout the episode. Its good to see she's relearning how to be Rose, even though Rose does seem a lot more confident now.
Bad Wolf!!! That never gets old. Seriously. I was literally bouncing up and down during Donna and the Doctor's conversation, and I think I deafened my brother when Bad Wolf started appearing everywhere. Poor Doctor! And the look on his face! Awww!
Is it just me, or is this the first official time we've heard the Cloister Bells on the new Doctor Who series? I know they sounded during Time Crash, but that doesn't really even count since its not an official episode.
One more thing...Next week! Oh gosh, next week. I am drooling, Seriously. Donna. The Doctor. Rose. Martha. Jack Harkness. Ianto Jones. Gwen Cooper. Gah!! Cannot wait, cannot wait, cannot wait! Torchwood and Doctor Who crossover again!!! And maybe if we're lucky, we'll see some Janto action *winks*
