Quick DVD Review: Justice League: The New Frontier
Justice League: The New Frontier ( Blu-Ray / Animated / DVD Release Date: 26 February 2008 / MPAA Rating: PG-13 / Running Time: 1 hr., 15 min. ) is a good translation of the comic book series of the same name by Darwyn Cooke. My only complaint is that I wish it were longer!
The animation was of the same retro style as the comic book series. It fit the story and was well done. The plot was the same; although much abbreviated. The movie introduced the central plot much quicker than the comic book series. The movie also cut out some of the backstory and a lot of the subplots.

The special features section had a sneak peek at an animated movie to be released this summer called Batman: Gothic Knight. It is a series of several interlocking stories as told and animated by anime directors. The animation looked awesome and the story sounded interesting.
