FanFic Recommendation
Awhile ago I searched out FanFiction.net for fics that were coda's to the episode Faith. I have bookmarked a lot of stories and am slowly working my way through them all. Well, the other night I read this one fic based upon that episode and it had me in utter sobs and I want to recommend it to you all.
This is an older story as it was first published back in 2006, but I wasn't really reading FanFics back then and have only just really starting reading them within the last year. So, I was very happy to come across this gem.
The story is entitled "At Night" by Pixel-0.
Summary: This is an AU idea asking the question: "What if there had been no healer?"
So, you can imagine where this story takes us and it is an angst filled, hurt the heart kind of fic involving Dean's last days and what transpires between the brothers.
I was sobbing by the stories end and the next morning during my workout on the treadmill I was thinking about this fic and I started tearing up, again. Even now, thinking about this brings tears to my eyes.
If you haven't read this, or haven't read it in awhile, I wholeheartedly recommend you giving this a read. Especially if you loved the episode 'Faith' like I did.
