Oh, wow. You look really pretty if I stand far away and I use the zoom.

Today I went to Brookfield Zoo's Holiday Magic with my mom and sister. I actually enjoyed myself and had fun. This year's Holiday Magic was definitely better than last year's. More exhibits were open and the holiday decorations were prettier. It also helped that the weather was really nice and not too cold. I took some pictures, but many of them are crappy. It was too dark outside to take any good pictures, and whenever I tried to take pictures inside, they usually turned out blurry. Damn my shaky hands.

Sorry, I don't have any witty commentary.

Elephant (a little blurry)

Rhinoceros

This one kept sucking on the rock.
I wish that I took a picture of the sign warning you to stand back from the rhinos because they like to spray people with their urine.

Pig - He was adorable, but stinky.

No drama llama

This one is hard to see, but it is a reindeer. Her name is either Heidi or Inga.

Meerkat. This one kept standing guard even though they had no enemies to worry about.

Porcupines - They're creepy looking.

Sand Cat (one of my favorites)

Jaguars

I could not get a good picture of the lion.
He was sleeping right by a glass window. Here' one where I used the flash and you can see how dirty the window is.

This is without a flash, but it' blurry.

And this is a picture I took of the lion last year. It' kind of dark, but I like it.

If you look really hard you can see a polar bear.

Here' a picture of the Polar Bear that I took during the summer so you can see what s/he actually looks like.

Tropic World was the only place that was closed so we did not get to see any of the monkeys or apes. That was okay with me because Tropic World kind of freaks me out. I have no idea why though. However, I do like the gorillas.
Here's a picture that I took two summers ago. The mother gorilla is covering her face, and if you look closely, you can see the baby's face.
