Mantra Mantra Mantra

Work has been stressing me out. Hard.

And I tend to be overly sensitive, so one chilly conversation has been feeling completely vulnerable and like I'm worthless and going to be axed at any moment. Ugh.

Yesterday was particularly bad, so I got on the Mantra wagon (thanks Sally of the Wildhearts) and started telling myself, "I am valuable. I'm worthy. I'm loved. I'm smart. I'm capable. I'm valuable! I'm good. I'm rock solid." It made me feel better.

Then later, Tank and I were having a text chat:

Tank: "Oh and can I say that when I see you come in the kitchen door you totally brighten everything up. :-) "

Me: "Awwwwwwww. Yeah you can say that."

Tank: "So you don't think your hard work goes unnoticed. ;-)  "

Me: "Really? Thank you! I've been feeling a little bummed out and frustrated with work lately. I do put in a lot of effort, but I don't always feel like I'm doing my best there though."

Tank: "No, you keep that place running!"

Me: "I try!"

Tank: "You might not hear it all the time, but every time I give you a hug that's me saying I love being around you. But more importantly, you are loved in that building by everyone."

AMAZING how well the Universe listens when you start telling her what needs to shake down. I was blown away by Tank's comments, but moreso by the timing.
