One day at a time, one day at a time, one day at a time.
I'm not very good at this whole "Don't over think everything to death," but I'm trying.
Yesterday was good. Mike stayed overnight at Chris's place, telling him that "McKinnley and I are trying to sort some stuff out, and I think a little space is good." Fair. Jade, Mike and I went for a walk and explored more of our new area. Shared some fish and chips for lunch, right on the harbour - yum! Then Jade went to work, Mike went to get us our third Big Day Out ticket, and I did some work, then organized dinner.

He and I also had some sexy time. It's been a week, which is an eternity for us. To be honest I wasn't sure when he would be ok with touching me again and thought things might be weird. It came up a little unexpectedly (ha ha, pun not intended, but it works..) when he was on the computer and I had my head in his lap after sitting on the floor beside him to help out. It was by far and away the best romp we've had since, oh, October?
It was a low key day, and it was good.
I'm going to do my damndest to enjoy things as they come.
On another note, Mike is going back to Thailand and I'm actually REALLY jealous. Especially since Auz is SOOOOOOOOOOOO expensive. I'm working my office job, which means I could be anywhere, including Thailand. And if I was in Thailand then making $200 a week would mean living like a king, whereas $200 a week in Australia would mean living on the street if my sister weren't bailing me out. *jealous* But trying not to be. Jade and I will just have to find some fun things to do here in Auz to make up for it. Or try to make up for it.
I forgot to mention that we experienced our first Australia Day, Jan. 26. It was fun! Sunny and smoking hot.. Chris, Mike and I went to the beach, then chilled out in an absolutely gorgeous park for awhile, then headed to a house party with an above ground blow up pool and BBQ, then back to Chris's for a big grill up and some more drinks. Nicko (the other guy we met in Vietnam) was there and it was good to see him. Man he's a loose cannon! Him and Mike get along like gangbusters, it's ridiculous. Mike and I proceeded to have a really big and really stupid fight over a piece of meat later. He said it was lamb, I said it wasn't. Totally lame. But a good day otherwise. Jade was working, poor little dear.
