Trials and tribulations
The more we explore and get familiar with Fremantle, the more I like it here. This is a good thing, since it's my home away from home for the next 7 weeks. 7 weeks doesn't actually sound that long..
Also, watching the news this morning about the ridiculous storm sweeping across the US, and hearing that it's still dumping snow on Alberta and BC with temperatures dropping below -20C again.... makes me love my new home even more!
This morning we went and sat on the beach. *grin* It's only a few minutes walk from our apartment, tiny but with gorgeous water and a wide expanse of clear blue sky. The only downfall is that the Sea Breeze comes in around 11am and then the beach gets super windy and the water choppy. So beach bathing has to be done in the early morn. The trials and tribulations..
And now, time to work so I can meet up with my beautiful sister for a pint and some cheese before dinner tonight.
Life, it's not so shabby.
