Interview 2

From 20_4:

1. Of all the places you've lived, what's your favourite?

I think this flat in Birmingham has been the best place. I like being somewhere central so I can go and visit my friends. It's such a lovely space and I'll be loathed to leave it. I think as cities go, I still prefer Manchester though.

2. It has been decreed that air travel is killing the planet, and is to be outlawed. Before then, in the next 12 months, you can take 2 more flights (ie one outbound and one home, or two outbound but then you're stuck there (well I guess technically you could get home by other means, but pretend you can't)). Where do you go and why?

I showed Chris these questions and he said he'd go to Australia because he pointed out it's a very difficult place to get to any other way, so on that logic I'd go to New Zealand. Is it cheating to use someone else's logic?

3. How many online 'identities' would you say you have? Not names or aliases, but as in different people you become because of the site/situation or your role? And what do you do in places where the edges blur?

Ooh, I'm down to not so many... I've mostly given up on trying to write my wiblog differently, so I just don't blog much. I don't post on the ship any more and I did that as me. I think I'm basically me everywhere except facebook and SCM where I'm the same person buy I'm the links worker first and me second. Most of the time I focus on only writing stuff in public (not on hidden blog posts) that I don't think people at work would have problems with. I've such a scepticism about internet anonymity that I post less and less and less anyway.

4. Would you ever consider taking those horrid pills again that made cheese and chocolate make you sick?

Nope. I'd rather be fat and happy! I'm getting there on the latter. I also know how to go about losing weight and now I'm cooking more, I'll get there eventually. I'd also rather get fit than thin so maybe I'll do some exercise eventually. There are more important things in life.

5. Exactly how many boys have you ever fancied in your life? How many girls do you fancy right now? (I seem to keep asking two part questions - is that cheating?)
Erm... I'm not sure I've ever fancied a boy. I hardly ever fancy anyone anyway and I still think it's possible to count the number of people I've fancied on my fingers. It was nearly one hand but it's debatably 6 people, and they've all been female. Of those people I only fancy one of them now.

Any more for any more?
