The ice dams are gone! And we don't seem to have any damage. Well, I did notice two huge slabs of ice on the ground under the worst one and some black mesh that I think was a gutter guard. If that's the worst of it, I'm jubilant. I heard too many horror stories this winter. Now I have to reel in all the deflated stockings.
We can see the hot tub again and the grill and the composter. We can't get to any of them yet...
This weekend is for taxes. I'm going to try Tax Act. We'll see how that goes.
My sewing room is an unmitigated disaster. I should try to do something about that. But mostly I just shudder and shut the door.
I have some VHS tapes I'd like to convert to DVD -- partially because we can't get our VCR to work. They're home movies & performance videos, stuff like that. Any thoughts on how I go about doing that?
Albert has a squeaky mouse hanging from an elastic cord that attaches to a door frame. He loves to hunt it, but occasionally he gets vigorous in his batting and I find it in the trash can. Still attached the the door and all, just the arc was big enough that it swung over the can and got caught on the descent. Fortunately it has not occurred to him that if he knocked the trash can over, he'd have his mouse back.
