Bits & Pieces
We have a new car. Well, new to us. new_man left in the Vue yesterday and returned with an Element. The Vue served very well for several Pennsics (pulling a trailer that was really too large for it), a humanitarian mission to Waveland (ditto), more roadtrips than I can count, and much carrying of stuff on its home-made roof rack. I'll miss it, but then I miss Saturn in general. The Element is pretty nifty so far.
I'm taking next week off from work. Hurray! I'm not going anywhere and I have a whole pile of things to do at home, but mostly I'm reveling in not having to be in the office for 10 whole days.
Sometimes Albert will hunker down on his scratch mat with his toys arrayed in front of him, as though he is a general surveying his troops. Periodically one of the recruits will displease him and get smacked across the room.
There's a lot of food for the Feb. 2nd feast in my freezer. And I won't even be able to attend the feast.
