Thanks to gealach_ros  for the heads up - according to Geek Syndicate, the BBC has confirmed that S4 of Merlin will air in 2011, not spring of 2012, despite the fact that six episodes of Doctor Who will also be airing in Autumn in what is currently Merlin's time-slot. They have yet to confirm the full schedual but this a good sign.

Thanks to gealach_ros  for bringing us the news that Merlin is officially getting a 4th series!

In more perplexing news, however, it appears that the new season will only be ten episodes long, instead of the usual thirteen. This saddens me because frankly, thirteen episodes is never enough - ten is absolutely measley!
