Thanks to winwin7 for the reminder that this house gets that thing delivered :P

Saturday Choices Section:
What's all this then? Gwen crowned Queen of Camelot? It's just a dream but Morgana (Katie McGrath), encouraged by Morgause, is tormented by the prospect and decides to get rid of the girl for good.

This is family fare and so it glosses over the fact that in medieval times, a prince would have just had his wicked way with a serving wench and thought no more about it.

Instead we get an enchanting romance, which sadly looks doomed when the king sentences Gwen (Angel Coulby) to death. The only way to save her is for Merlin to turn himself in a Gandalf-clone and take the blame. It's not a good look - but it is a hoot.

Reviewer: Jane Rackham

The actual episode brief in the scheduling bit reads: Morgana is haunted by thoughts of Gwen becoming queen and exposes her and Arthur's courtship to Uther, leading him to banish the girl from the kingdom.

Firstly, see me, inordinately pleased that it's Angel & Katie who get the bracketed names because I've decided this means that the episode is about them more than anyone else (DON'T DISILLUSION ME YET.)

Um, otherwise I have to say I don't feel these reviews particularly shed light on anything... Although I do find it interesting that the reviewer seems to feel that Morgana dreaming that Gwen is queen is a handwaveable detail. Does that mean it's not meant to be a ~vision? o_O?

Oh, and has anyone been keeping a tally of LOTR references in the past 3 weeks? Just wondering...

news!
