Looks like I haven’t updated with any new jewelry pictures since November. What’s that all about!? Here are things I’ve worked on in the interim.

I was unhappy with how the focal for my Oregon Jasper necklace came out, so I redid it earlier this week with smaller beads around the focal and a different jump ring. I think it looks a lot better:

With me leaving my last job, I’m starting to get my groove back. I’ve done some beading projects over the past two years that I’ve forgotten/haven’t had a chance to post. Now that I’ve sorted all my stuff, I might also end up making more items too. I really should figure out easy; it’s the best time of year to try and sell things.

venkablackfire and I wandered all around Seattle yesterday, while waiting for the rest of our Emerald City Comic Con group to arrive. We saw some very bizarre statues, the Space Needle, Pike's Market, etc, and had some very creepy encounters ( Read more... )

canyonwalker is traveling over in the UK, so of course I injured myself! I was slicing some peppers for a movie marathon and managed to get part of my thumb instead. It wasn't that big a cut, but it managed to A) take all the skin off and B) hit the vein. canyonwalker and I went hiking at Big Basin Redwood State Park today. This isn't our first time there - or even our third. Back in 1997 we hosted a darkfriend social hike there, and it's been one of our go to hikes in the intervening years.
