I've been working on some projects recently, most of which I can't reveal yet as they're gifts. I can reveal the necklace/earring combo I made with the pendant and bracelet I bought last weekend in Chinatown. I'm pretty pleased with how the two stranded necklace turned out.

Friend & I went out trolling the Oakland jewelry stores, and she found some serpentine she likes. Problem: she doesn't bead. Solution: Commission piece for me!

The focal bead is hematite, with other pieces scattered throughout the serpentine.

Wasn't supposed to make earrings, but I had leftovers. Can't let them go to waste, no?
