Spring forward
1. They have called this day the Eleventh of March! And whomsoever of you gets through this day, unless you are shot in the head or somehow slain, you will stand at tiptoe when e'er you hear the name again, and you will get excited at the name March the Eleventh!
We happy few, we few, we band of brothers. Our names will be as like household names. And those who are not here, be they sleeping or doing something else, they will feel themselves...sort of crappy. Because they are not here to...to join the fight, on this day, the Eleventh of March!

3. I am officially Gone From The Lab since Friday. Cleaned out my buffer bottles, nuked the mouldy LB plates from orbit, bequeathed my calculator, backed up 123456 gigabytes of data, peeled my comics off the wall, left a giant stack of articles on my bench. Strangely bittersweet -- as much grief as grad school was, I'm sad I'm not going to be seeing my lab homies any more. New Grad Student A was becoming a very good friend -- she still is, but Facebook is different than eating lunch every day. Hm.
Now beginneth the job hunt. Tomorrow. -.-

5. There is a new Temeraire book?! HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS WAS COMING. *checks pockets for money*
6. Jesse was named one of GQ's most stylish guys. I can only imagine the face he made when learning that.
7. MUSIC. While I've been incommunicado there has been SO MUCH MUSIC. And the Junos are on April 1st and my FAVOURITES, Hey Rosetta! are playing. Also, I think I am getting tickets to The Indies. Also also, Metric are releasing a new album in June and I AM EXCITE.
ION, the breakup of The Stills and the "hiatus" of Broken Social Scene has generated a new group called Eight and a Half. Their first LP is out next month and I like what I hear. The TOKiMONSTA remix is also greatness.
