So this morning D took LB to the GP. Interaction was fine, until at the end she enquired 'so are you babysitting today?'

Because clearly taking children to the doctor is mothers' responsibility and a man doing so must be in a stand-in kind of capacity.

My friend is going to to be on Woman's Hour tomorrow! The blurb from the Woman's Hour site says:
