Time goes by as we watch our lives as they're sadly slipping away. Alone...we cry.
What's up kids? Again I hope all is good and fine with you...today's update is purely out of boredom. I'm making up hours here at work from missing on Monday, and it sucks, cause I just finished editing a paper, and now I have nothing to do but wait for another to get finished and ready for me to edit. Whatever...so yeah...hope you enjoy the magical workings of my boredom...

Confirmation....looks like the Sarahister and I are stuck with old man river. Apparently it's for our own protection so no one will complain about not having an "adult" in the class. Hmmmmm....last time I checked, wait no...no no no...yes...I AM AN ADULT!!! Oh wait, that's right...so is SARAHI. Both of us can go to prison if we commit a crime. LEGAL ADULTS....whatever. I guess if we get technical, we win, but there's no point in arguing. It's like being in a rocking chair (it'll give you something to do, but you won't get anywhere). So we'll have to find a way to work things out with the old timer. But I'm not going to pre-judge him...for I all know he may be the coolest guy since....ummm....yeah...anyways....
Me and my lady are doing it....haha...just kidding...we're doing AWESOME is what I meant (man, you guys are perverts). But yeah...she's unbelievable...the only thing is that we've both been working so much...her more than me...that we're extremely tired all the time. But we're still going strong. Her cousins came into town this weekend from California, and they're really cool...especially since they speak English. If you don't understand why I'm so excited about that is because about 90% to 95% of Alexa's friends and family speak Spanish as their first language. So I'm usually understanding everything perfectly fine, and then trying to figure out the right way to say something back, but by the time I figure what the hell to say, the moment's passed. So with her cousins, things are completely different...they're really cool people. Alexa's sister Julie is really awesome too. She has a really big heart and always makes me laugh....she also makes an awesome breakfast sandwich. Yeah. But yeah....I'm soooo freakin happy with Alexa...it's crazy.
SWEET HEREAFTER UPDATE:
-Alright, so we still have no shows scheduled until September 1
-Recording is happening today hopefully. I've had to either work or go to a meeting Monday through Wednesday, so we haven't had a chance to record yet, but today I don't work, and Dan and I will be recording some today, and God willing, a bunch on Saturday. I was checking all the equipment last night, and some of it isn't working properly, but we'll get all of it squared away today and can hopefully at least fully record 1 song or at least lay down both guitars and maybe one vocal track for it...we'll see. But I'll update hopefully on Sunday or Monday and let you all know how things are coming along. yeah.
Other than that...go get the new Limbeck album...I hear it's supposed to be unbelievable. I haven't got it yet, but thats only cause someone told me not to get it, cause they didn't know if they were gonna get it for me for my birthday or not...so yeah. I'm waiting on that. Also, on Aug 16, go get the Bob Dylan tribute album being released by Drive-Thru Records. So far from what I've listened to at purevolume.com/listentobobdylan it's pretty damn good. Lastly and most importantly, on Aug 23, go get the debut album from Jack's Mannequin. Those guys are amazing. So yeah...also, I'm going to post a video on here for a few days...it's by Ace Enders's(from the Early November) side project, I Can Make a Mess Like Nobody's Business. I know a few people have asked me what they sound like, so here you go. This song in particular is a little bit different than the rest of the album, but it's pretty damn good. The video has some acoustic guitars, weinie dogs, cowboy hats, and poker...you can't ask for anything more. So yeah...other than that...take care and God bless you all. Peace out homies.
