What's shakin' kids? Well, the weathers mighty nice, and I hope all of you are smiling and laughing...or at least chucklin' a little bit. Anywho, I've got a whole mess of update to beat you all with....
Ok...so NHI is NHI...yeah.
Sarahi and I haven't met yet, but we will, and when we do, it's gonna be good. Cause I'm crazy, and so is she...so some sort of genius has to come out of our insanity. But yeah, her and I still need to plan things out and make the most out of this year of Confirmation.
What else...oh yeah, I still have 2 jobs, and next week, I'm gonna kill myself. On Monday and Wednesday, I have work 8 to 12, then school 1:30 to 2:50, then work again from 3:15 to 4:30. Then, on Tuesday and Thursday, I have school from like 9 to 3, and then I have work again from 3:15 to 4:30. And then on Friday, I work a full 8 to 5. And then that's not even including the fact that I don't know what days I'm work 5pm to 8 at the Holy Spirit. What a horrible week. The only good things are A) I'm gonna be getting paid B) It's only the first week of school, so it can't be that bad C) I still have time to see my lady and D) JamisonParker plays next Friday at Hineys. So yeah...rough stuff.
Speaking of my lady...things are awesome....I mean seriously, I've never been happier. We've seen each other almost every day for almost 2 months...that's not normal. By now we should be ready to kill each other, but we're not. In fact I think things are better the more and more we see each other. We've had our fair share of misunderstandings, but the good thing about those is that we come out of them stronger and even closer than before. She really is amazing. Things finally feel right.
Alexa, thank you for everything. Seeing you everyday makes everyday worth it regardless of whatever else may happen.
SWEET HEREAFTER UPDATE:
Ok, so after all the techical difficulties, Dan and I completely recorded one of our songs. We were in the middle of listening to it to see if there was anything else it needed, and then WHAM!! power turns off on the recorder, which completely ruins the CompactFlash card, erasing everything off the card. So, we lost everything. The only good thing is that when I bought the card, my friend was working there and asked if I would buy the replacement warrantee so she could meet her quota. Well thank God for that...cause all I had to do was take that bitch(the card not my friend) in and they replaced it for a new on right then and there. So yeah....bad news: we're back where we started...good news: we still have this week left to record some more. So I'll keep you all posted on the recording, and remember, September 1 is only 17 days away!!!
Other than that...I would like to say farewell to my good friend Richie. Anyone who's known me since high school should know that the first band I was ever in was with Richie. It was just Richie and myself. We were called Starter Kit, and our only show was the Loretto Battle of the Bands. After that, it was Memory Road with Richie, myself, and then Dan. Since then, Richie and I have remained good friends. He's leaving to culinary school in Austin, and it's sad to see him go, but it's awesome to know that he's going to make something really awesome of himself. Even though we never played in a band after I graduated and even though he lived in a different state (Santa Teresa, NM), I still consider Richie to be a really important part of my life. Music is a big deal to me...writing, listening, everyting....and Richie was a part of how I became the way I am with music. He's an amazing individual, and I'm gonna miss him. Take care Richie.
So yeah folks, I think that's pretty much it. I hope you all enjoyed the update. Take care and God bless. Peace out homies.
