What's up kids? I hope all is well. I know bunches of you are at school now, which sucks, but some of you crazies might like it....so yeah. Good luck to all you all in school. I still have a couple more weeks til school starts, so I'm trying to enjoy it. For everyone that was wondering, sadly, I didn't get my puppy. I had the funds, but I seriously don't have the time. So, I'm gonna take the advice of Heather and wait until I do have time. I'm hopefully going to schedule the spring semester so I have more time, that way, I can get it when I get my Christmas break starts. So yeah....anyways...on with the update...
So NHI's banquets coming up, and all I know is the place. We'll see what happens.
Confirmation meeting tomorrow I think. Hmmmmm....
Me and the lady are doing pretty good. THere are a couple things lingering around that worry me a bit, but other than those things, everything else is awesome. I can't say enough good things about her. Ever since she's been in my life, things have been amazing.
SWEET HEREAFTER UPDATE:
So we played on Saturday, and it was fun. We had like zero practice time, but we did alright. It wasn't as packed as usual, but I know the Before Braille show was that night too, so for what it was, it was good. Next show is September 1 until we schedule another...which I doubt we will because...
We're recording this week....well, demoing actually, but still. We're finally going to make an actual hard copy of our music. Depending on how the songs come out, we'll either put them on a cd to sell, or wait and record better versions with our friend Fernie. But yeah, I got my recording mics back from Fernie, and this week and next week, we'll be recording 3 to 5 songs and hopefully writing 1 or 2 more. Yeah. I'll keep you all posted...
Ummm....yeah folks. That's it for the update, but I've got some things on my mind. I haven't really done this in a while, but here you go...take it for what it's worth.
So, after a few experiences in my life, I've learned one important thing...that with whatever God(or life for non believers) hands to you, you have to learn from every single experience...regardless whether it's good or bad. So with every thing I do, no matter how insignificant, I try to learn from it. So after a couple TV shows and couple personal stories told to me, I've learned that whether your old or young, short or tall, girl or guy, that the one thing you have to remember is that TOMORROW IS NOT PROMISED TO YOU. I'm not even talking about just your own life. The people you hold near and dear to your heart can be here one day and gone the next. The talents and gifts you were born with or learned can be forgotten or lost from one day to the next. So cherish every single minute you have. I know it's hard, cause I tend to forget too, but do whatever you can to love your family, friends, and most importantly, who you are as much as you can.
So yeah....just a little trip to the back of my mind for you guys.
Well, I think that's it kids. Good luck to all of you with everything you are doing. Take care.....peace out homies.
