What's shakin' kids? I hope everybody's doing fine and dandy, if not...sorry. Well anyways, I know I've been updating a lot more recently, but it's cause I finished this project at work, so I've been doing a whole lotta nothin here except trying to find a way to pass the time. I can only check the early november website so many times. haha. What a loser.....ugh I mean....I'm cool....ugh I mean......ugh...ugh........
Ok, so again, I haven't heard crap from NHI, so yeah. Although I'm sure there's stuff going on. I'm just out of the loop, but whatever.
Nothing with Confirmation yet. Meeting on Tuesday...hmmm(I'm sure you don't care, but if you're reading this thing, you're bored anyways, so yeah....) Aside from that, I was confused as all hell about some stuff that has been going on, but I talked to one of the best men I know, and he cleared a lot of things up for me. So yeah.
You know when it's super cold outside, and you're freezing your ass off....like super cold, like when you can't complete a thought in your head cause you keep thinking about how damn cold it is. Anyways, when it's that cold, and you go inside, and the heater's on, and it just surrounds you with a real nice and comfortable warm feeling...well that's how I feel when I'm with her. Yeah.
QUESTION, AND IF YOU READ THIS WITHIN THE NEXT 3 HOURS, COMMENT AND ANSWER:
I wanna get a puppy, but I know I'm pretty busy with work, and by the time I'm done with one job, I'll have school. Should I get it anyways, and do everything in my power to schedule things well enough to take care of the dog, or should I just postpone until I have more time? ANSWER NOW!!! IF I WANNA GET THE ONE I WANT, I NEED TO GET IT TODAY BEFORE THE DUDE SELLS OUT!!
SWEET HEREAFTER UPDATE:
Ok, so we have a show scheduled Saturday night at Kristophs. We haven't practiced at all. So again, don't expect greatness, but expect a good time if you show up. We always have fun joking and talking....and occasionally we play a song or 2. Anyways, we play Saturday at 10. This guy Austin is opening up for us at 9, so make sure you all check him out. I haven't heard him play, but he seems like a cool guy, and I know Dan and I like getting support, so I'm sure he feels the same. So try to get out there on Saturday night. Other than that, we still have that show on September 1. So...
Oh yeah, starting next week, Dan and I will hopefully continue/start recording demos. God willing, we'll actually get stuff done this time. We've got ideas for it, and we will hopefully get most of our ideas and plans done. We're trying to get some piano, violin, and guest vocals. It's only gonna be like 3 or 4 songs, but we want them to sound really really good. So yeah. I'll keep you all updated.
I know it's rare, but there are some good bands coming to town pretty soon(i.e. tonight)
August 5(tonight):the junior varsity, the hurt process, the audition, aiden @ house of rock and roll
August 6: before braille @ house of rock and roll
August 10: chiodos, still life projector, folley @ house of rock and roll 7PM
August 15: the used, glassjaw, 30 seconds to mars, new transit direction @ pan american center
August 19: altarmotive, gideon (first show), dead rose sinclair @ wayside $3 7PM
AUGUST 26: jamison parker, waking ashland, veda @ hineys (1820 gateway west) 6PM (GO TO THIS SHOW OR I SWEAR I'LL GO TO YOUR HOUSE AT NIGHT AND RIP YOUR FACE OFF!!!) It's going to be amazing.
