My post for the day is a short story written to a brief of writing about depression in order to de-stigmatise it, being very careful not to glamorize it in any way. I don't know if I've done that, but I like what I've come up with.

( If I could paint depression I would let thick drops of black ink fall onto the centre of a white page. If I could scream depression I would start with a whimper that never reached a bang. If I could act depression I would curl into a corner and shield my face from anyone watching. )
