Here's what i've been able to understand:
0-Deacons, who are basically the priest's helpers in sacraments & such
1-Priests, the lowest of the "offical" church participants, have a single church under thier direct influence/control.
2-Bishops, who have a "diocese," which is a group of churches (& thier territory/neighborhoods?) within thier influence.
3-Archbishops, who have "archdiocese," which are groups of diocese again under thier influence.
Definition:
=Deacon= (n) An officer in Christian churches appointed to perform certain subordinate duties varying in different communions. In the Roman Catholic and Episcopal churches, a person admitted to the lowest order in the ministry, subordinate to the bishops and priests.
=Priest= (n) In many Christian churches, a member of the second grade of clergy ranking below a bishop but above a deacon and having authority to administer the sacraments.
=Parish= (n) 1: a local church community 2: the local subdivision of a diocese committed to one pastor/priest.
=Bishop= (n) : a clergyman having spiritual and administrative authority; appointed in Christian churches to oversee priests or ministers; considered in some churches to be successors of the twelve apostles of Christ
=Diocese= (n) : the territorial jurisdiction of a bishop
=Archbishop= (n) : a bishop of highest rank
=Archdiocese= (n) : the diocese of an archbishop
=Cardinal= (n) One of the ecclesiastical princes who constitute the pope's council, or the sacred college.
=Pope= (n) The bishop of Rome, the head of the Roman Catholic Church. (added for the sake of completion.)
=Vicar= (n) a Roman Catholic priest who acts for another higher-ranking clergyman
=Rector= (n) 1: A Roman Catholic priest appointed to be managerial as well as spiritual head of a church or other institution, such as a seminary or university. 2: A clergyman who has the charge and cure of a parish, and has the tithes, etc.; the clergyman of a parish where the tithes are not impropriate.
