25 degrees finally
yeah! the sun is back and apparently its going to shine for 7 days!!! yeah!!!!
That will probably be the whole of summer over here, it only usually last a week, maybe two if you are lucky.
I got up earlier with River as doc went to work, and also had to finish packing the last box (had to get some more delivered on the thursday as still had stuff to go) and finish doing some paperwork. Felt a little under the weather but after a shower was fighting fit (in a slow motion type of way). the guy arrived to get the boxes at 9.30 so luckily i was ready. River thought it was great to have someone in the house to show off to (he is such a show pony) so he followed the guy around while he did all the extra paperwork and had to write on all 20 boxes!!
Richard and Jo and there 6 month old baby lily came over for a bbq in the afternoon so we spent most of the night outside in the garden. lily only weights 14 pounds and is 6.5 months old. she is sooooooooooo tiny. i looked in rivers book and he was that at 2 months! my boy:)
we ended up giving them loads of toys that we were going to give away, and rivers walker, they put lily in it and she loved it, so she sat in it for quite a while in the back yard so must fo been great for them having both their hands free. I remember the first time we put him in it, he loved being able to sit by himself and we didnt have ti either hold him or have him inside on the floor.
they left around 10 and we were not too far behind to bed.
Im off to Elton john concert today so need to leave in 50 mins so better go get ready!
