Work do at Richmond
Went out after work to a DCMT team outing. Which means an excuse to get drunk and work pays!
but, i stupidly, stupidly got myself sunburnt!
I dont know if anyone remembers but i had an accident late last year on a treadmill. Yes i fell off one, and had a fear of them for months afterwards..... Anyways, they gave me all these free sunbed vouchers so i guess i didnt sue them, so i decided to use one.
It was a stand up one and i did 10 mins, STupid!!!!!!!! My skin hasnt even seen sun in 6 months and as the day went on i got redder and redder till i was glowing!!!!!!!! All my expensive wrinkle creams down the drain in 1 session... stupid! i am an aussie and know better, but well, i cant take it back.
so went out on friday night looking like a beetroot.
We went to a cool pub on the water, was just beautiful. I wasnt in the mood to get drunk as still feeling the efforts from last week, so only stayed till about 11 then went home. My mate Alec and Scaf came out as well so was good to spend some time with them. Was ment to be spending some time with Lisa (evans, work lisa, not lisa harvey who is one of my best mates over here)but she had to do the social thing and hung out with the rest of the team. I did end up having some cowboy shots, but said no to sambucca, so thought i was being very refrained :)
