So, Peter Jennings died and I think that this marks the death of one of America's true journalists; especially at a point in time where the media is seen as such a viscious, ratings-motivated vulture. Jenning's was one of my idols because he didn't fall into that cliché; one of the reason I studied journalism for as long as I did.
