You were right.

I just finished Shards of Honor about an hour ago, and I would have posted before now, but I was too busy trying to hunt down copies (in vain) through the library. Sigh. Buying them in ebook form one at a time it is. It'll be worth it, as they definitely seem to have rereadability.

Every so often, I get caught up in a reread of classic books from my childhood. It grabbed me recently when I discovered that I could download Little Women for free from Google Books.  Here's a feeling I haven't felt this strongly in awhile -- disappointed by a book. I finished Cleaving by Julie Powell the other day. It's the sequel to her first book, Julie and Julia, which was turned into the movie with Amy Adams and Meryl Streep last year.
