Every so often, I get caught up in a reread of classic books from my childhood. It grabbed me recently when I discovered that I could download Little Women for free from Google Books. Never mind that I have half a dozen books from my last trip to Half Price Books that are unread, and I'm not even a third of the way done with my FDR biography. Oh, and Chris finally finished the second book in the Millennium Trilogy, so I could start that. But no, I'm sitting on my breaks at work reading about the March sisters and that nice Laurence boy from next door.
No problem, I figure. I get through this and get back to regularly scheduled reading. Then
desert_vixen had to post about the Anne of Green Gables series, and now I'm jonesing to read that too! Except that it's packed away in storage in my parents' attic. Whew! Crisis averted -- they can just stay in the attic. Except that last night, no kidding, all my dreams had Anne of Green Gables quotes in them. So now I'm going to Richmond on Thursday to get my books, and hopefully avoid the next temptation -- that box that has Anne of Green Gables also has the Little House on the Prairie series in it too. Shit. I'm doomed.
