Recuperation Day
Today has been a lazy day, and boy did I need it. I've been running non-stop since last week. Flew up to Memphis this past Saturday. Arrived at about 9:45 CT, picked up the rental truck, packed and loaded it all day with the help of Bill the Cat and his friend Paul, and then drove it back to Atlanta that night. OMG Squee!!!
I auditioned for the role of Cinderella in Sondheim's Into the Woods this past Sunday. I was called back tonight. I felt my callback went awful. While at swing, I received a phone call from the director.
Director: Megan, you gave a great audition, but I'm sorry, I just can't cast you as Jack. I'm going to have to cast you as Cinderella instead.
