Finally finished binding off the blasted ice queen I've been working on most of the year. I didn't have enough yarn to do the right bindoff so part of it has picot and part of it doesn't. I washed it and pinned it to a cardboard box to block...and now Steve McQueen is asleep on it.

I am never knitting with Kidsilk Haze again, but damn it, I won,

and i just realized that i DO NOT have to reknit my alpaca hat a third time, because i forgot i could fold up the brim until i was looking at Brian's hat five minutes ago. so if i went skiing this weekend - yes, this weekend is May and they're still open - i could theoretically still wear it this season.

this hat? still too big. too long this time, which is easier to fix. i will eventually come up with a vague concept of the size of my head.

also: I want one.
