Off to Liverpool in the next few moments so I shan't be on here until Wednesday when I'm sure I'll have a hell of a lot to talk about.
I would like to leave with one thought. Mother-in-laws. Or prospective mother-in-laws. Are they created with the sole aim to cause penury and pain? My dear friend has had to endure constant abuse from her prospective mother-in-law and on Friday night she snapped - and rightly so!
So, the question I put to you dear readers (I only hope), is that are the feared figures of the mother-in-laws only due to her fear of losing her son to another woman or is it due to some underlying sadistic reason?
In my opinion, there's a psychological reason as to why she fears losing her son and I have only word - Freud. Perhaps there is a reverse to the Oedipus Complex? ...
