Firehorse progress report
5 pages for Wednesday and part of Thursday in which my firefighting hero has been accused of colluding with fire elementals, sabotage, encouraging a deadly fire and has been publicly fired from her job. The bad guys have destroyed her reputation, trashed the job she loves and made it dangerous for her to stay in the city she wants to protect. They've even begun a whisper campaign against her in an attempt to get her lynched.
Bad guys: 3, heroine: 0
She is currently doing a great stunned mullet imitation. She's normally a sweet, bideable girl, but the snarky, stubborn side of her is about to let loose. She will soon start mouthing off to her detractors, investigating her accusations and making life hell for the bad guys. Oh, and Thunderfoot is returning to the manuscript. Greater love hath no girl for her blazing steed :}
