One of the quietest school holidays ever, thanks to a virus Josh and I both caught. We had to stay holed up at home most of the time, which gave me plenty to time to reread my "Firehorse" novel and play Dragon Age. writing madly ahead of my next brainstorming session later today with the wonderful Mike. I've been stalled for so long, and the current words meet the dictionary definition of "crappy," but hey, it's first draft. I can delete all the talky exposition later, right?

I anticipate another 5-8000 words until "the end" but who knows?

All I need to do is sit my butt in chair and write the Firehorse finale. I have a laid-out plan for the final rise of action (thanks to my wonderful brainstorming friend Mike), I have some good ideas about the fight with the big baddy, and I even know how to finish the book without rushing it.
