Hubbyfink and I had a VERY nerdy New Year's Eve which consisted of BBC America's "Doctor Who" marathon interspersed with the Lego "Lord of the Rings" video game. The game can be played either as a solo adventure or a cooperative venture. We've been playing co-op and having a fantastic time. Two weeks ago, I was the Dallas suburb of Richardson attending Juniper routing protocol training and meeting the Texas-based part of my work organization. The class itself was poorly taught, but my team mates and I -- who took a similar course this summer in Columbus -- caught on to more of the hows and whys during the lab practicals. I used to like Wednesdays: halfway to the weekend, some decent programs on TV, halfway to the weekend. These days, though, Wednesday is my bane. Every Wednesday, I have back to back conference calls from 9am to 5pm. Every other Wednesday, the day ends with a conference call at 8pm.
