TV - a source of knowledge
I'm temping for my tutor tomorrow - her kid's got the chicken pox. I'll be filling in for her math class as well as having Chem with the 9th graders(as usual).
However, since Math isn't my best subject my tutor suggested I continue giving them math-puzzles and such to keep them occupied - and that's when the little flashbulb went off. What I needed was a math puzzle that's bound to keep them scratching their heads for at least half the lesson, which got me thinking of the season one episode of Stargate Atlantis (this totally justifies me buying the first season not too long ago! :D) where Sheppard solves the puzzle and McKay finds out that Sheppard could have been part of Mensa. XD
I find this whole thing very very amusing. Who would have thought being a nerd would pay off in such an unexpected way! *giggle* So all I can say is 'Thank God for John Sheppard!'. :D
