I couldn't stand the ragearriffic cliffhanger of ep 7 and turned to the books. I have brief thoughts.

All right, the plot of this "reimagining" sounds interesting and yay a female director (the lady who did Country Strong, didn't see it, not my thing). The movie in question is apparently a "dark" rendering of Grimm's Hans Christians Andersen's The Little Mermaid (which is pretty dark to begin with no?).
