Ok, I get why Raja won. I get the genderfuck and I would appreciate it, but she was a total arrogant asshole throughout. I found it difficult to get over that enough to appreciate her style. I really despised her personality and her viciousness. I remember having a similar aversion to Tyra for being such a bitch when it was unwarranted, but I came around by the end. This time though, I was never really on the wagon. Up until the end she felt fake fake fake. Ugh.
It hurt to see Alexis go. I get that her drag was outdated, but I can't get over how much love I have for someone who can dance and be charismatic. Having her competition fuck up RuPaul's video a number of times and get away with it is annoying.
But more than that I'm just irritated that personality got shafted. I mean personality's the reason why I totally understood the pass Shangela was getting. I was so surprised she was so strong and that she had such stage presence. Bummer to see her go, especially with how much the 'Heathers' paraded around acting like prissy high schoolers.
I felt that this season was less enjoyable (but strangely more addictive) than the previous two. The authenticity of season 1 will always live on for me. This season, the cattiness was ridiculous. I was outraged and disappointed when they brought Carmen back when she had an absolute zero in personality and talent.
Bah.
