You're no Daisy, no Daisy a'tall.

Turns out, a kindergarten level Girl Scout is called a Daisy. I don't think they had these when I was little. Or else I was just blissfully unaware of them, along with things like weather, taxes, and a decelerating metabolism.

About ten little girls showed up with their mothers and one blustering, too-loud dad who made us all nervous, probably because he was nervous. Seriously, between the piles of rainbow unicorn stickers and foam flower thingies, who wouldn't be a little leery? And holy heck, why did all the moms and troop leaders seem to be in their early 20s? Maybe because they were. But they kept deferring to me enough to give me a complex.

So they got the little girls all in a circle, crossing arms, holding hands, doing Girl Scout Stuff which I won't disclose. Because the first rule of Girls Scouts, like Fight Club, is YOU DON'T TALK ABOUT IT. Heh. Kidding.

Then they had each girl stand up and introduce herself and say one thing special about herself. We got a whole stream of:

"I'm Sasha and I like pink!"
"I'm Taylor and I like purple!"
"I'm Tianna and I like strawberries!"
"I'm Bella and I like watermelon!"

And last comes my girl.

"I'm Riley and MY BACK IS HARD."
The leader says, "Your back is hard?"
And Riley says, "LIKE A HEART ATTACK."

...
Your guess is as good as mine.
