How unreal life feels now that the play is over! I cannot explain why playing pretend makes me feel alive; it does and I miss the sensation. Endorphins are the best things on earth. I mean, honestly, if I had known how much exercise would affect my mind, I would have begun this marathon training long ago. I find myself needing to go out and ride my bike. I rode for eight miles yesterday and did not wake up with the slightest pain this morning. We began blocking in play practice and, let me tell you, it is the most annoying part of theatre. Every few seconds, either Mary or Patrick would yell out a command. It was nice, though, to see the script gather dimension. I am currently working on developing my character, Lynn.
